Kian’s Biography
Kian is the founder and Director of The School of Somatic Sexology where he choreographs and teaches The UK & Ireland Somatic Sex Education professional training, with an international team of leading-edge educators.
Kian brings a thorough grounding in Somatic Sex Education modalities to the training. He first encountered many of them when training as a Sacred Intimate with the Body Electric School at Wildwood, California in 1994. He qualified as a Certified Sexological Bodyworker in the UK in 2014, gained the CSSE in 2015, interned with Deej and Uma at the subsequent UK training and since 2018 has co-directed the UK & Ireland CSB/CSSE trainings.
He is a gender-queer structural integration bodyworker, a Certified Cuddle Party™ and Wheel of Consent® Facilitator, President of the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers (ACSB) and a co-founder and current Chair of the Association of Somatic and Integrative Sexologists (ASIS).
He was the co-founder of the Sea School of Embodiment 2014-2022 with Katie Sarra which presented leading-edge international trainings in somatic sexology for the public as well as for other sexuality professionals, including from Betty Martin, Deej Juventin, Ellen Heed, Kimberley Johnson and Caffyn Jesse.
Kian follows the Code of Ethics of the ACSB and offers Clinical Supervision for Certified Sexological Bodyworkers and Somatic Sex Educators.
